Inaugural Goldy's Bowling Bash Was a Ball, Raising Funds for Phoenix Children's Hospital's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders
The inaugural Goldy's Bowling Bash took place November 10 at Lucky Strike at CityScape in Downtown Phoenix. Proceeds from the event went to benefit Goldy's Fund 4 Kids which supports Phoenix Children’s Hospital Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders. The all-star event featured teams of bowlers and nearly 200 people showed up to take part in the competitive bowling fun, a silent auction, a raffle and a fantastic dinner.
“After more than four years of volunteering and involvement with Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Amy and I recently became honorary chairs of the ‘Hope Lives Here’ campaign and want to do our best to raise awareness and money for this new PCH Center for Cancer and Blood disorders,” said Paul Goldschmidt. “We are excited to have our inaugural ‘Goldy’s Bowling Bash’ benefit this campaign, and hopefully it will be just another great way we can help many of our Arizona families at PCH.”
Friends and famous bowling guests included Goldy and his friends Luis Gonzalez,Jim Bones Mackay, Willie Bloomquist, Drew Stanton, Leandro Barbosa, Nick Ahmed, Dustin Pedroia, Andre Ethier, Brandon McCarthy, Justin Upton, Aaron Boone, Miguel Montero, Paul Konerko, Kyle Drabek, Archie Bradley, JJ Putz, Robbie Ray, Tuffy Goeswich, David Peralta and many more!
